They could have added a cyberpunk sequence but i guess they really wanted to emphasize the "no help" element and assumed, that players would have played the other endings first and just assume that somehow you talked to alt before rolling up to saka tower.
I think it was the wrong choice, they could have easily added a part where you dive with some suicidal rag-tag setup.
